Description
Most armchairs are sized for looking at; this one is sized for staying in. The seat is 90 cm wide and genuinely deep, the back reclines just enough to read in, and the two included scatter cushions solve the one real problem with deep chairs — lower-back support when you want it, none when you don’t. The rounded shell wraps slightly, which makes it feel smaller in a room than its footprint suggests. Two covers are available because the same chair reads completely differently depending on the fabric: Oat is the warm, neutral choice for wood floors and cream walls; Charcoal sharpens the shape and hides everyday life better in busy rooms. The covers are removable and spot-cleanable, and the frame is solid wood rather than moulded foam over air — which is why it weighs what it weighs and why it will outlast a cheaper chair by a decade.
Use cases
- A reading corner with a side table and a lamp — the natural home for this chair.
- Living rooms where the sofa is for guests and one chair is for you.
- Bedrooms large enough for a sitting corner.
- Anyone who wants the chair to be the softest thing in the room, on purpose.

FAQs
Is the cover really removable?
Yes — zipped and refittable, with washing instructions on the product label (spot-clean recommended).
Will it fit through a standard door?
The chair is 90 cm wide; doorways below that need the legs removed (four bolts, key included).
Which fabric wears better?
Charcoal hides daily wear; Oat is the same weave and cleans the same way, it simply shows more. Neither is more durable.
