Description
Most pendant lights are shades that hide the bulb; this one is a cage that shows it. The steel cage protects a standard E27 bulb while leaving it fully visible, which is the entire point — fit an Edison-style filament bulb and the pendant becomes a warm, moving light source with visible architecture. Hang it low over a counter or bar and it reads industrial; hang a row of three over a long table and it reads deliberately repetitive, which is a look. The frame is powder-coated matte black, the cord is braided fabric (not plastic), and the ceiling rose is steel to match. It is not a bright light by itself — the cage is open, so most of the light escapes sideways and up. That is a feature for ambience and a limitation for tasks, and the product page says so.
