Frequently asked questionsPrototype catalogue — plain answers
Is Search Bazaar a real shop? No. It is a prototype catalogue built for an academic SEO project. You can browse and read, but nothing can be purchased.
Why do products show prices?Prices are illustrative demo prices included so product pages can be evaluated as a real catalogue would be. Every price is labelled as a demo price, and checkout is disabled.
Can I place an order? No. Add-to-cart, cart, checkout and account pages are disabled by design and redirect to this page.
Why are there no reviews or ratings?Because we will not invent them. Product pages earn trust through specifications, use cases and honest assumptions instead.
Are the shipping times real?No — they are prototype assumptions showing how a real store would disclose delivery information clearly. They are not live service commitments.
Are the products certified or from a specific maker? No certification or authenticity claim is made. Products are described as prototype specifications inspired by the named materials and design traditions.
Where do the product images come from?Photography comes from documented CC0/CC BY sources; every image credit is listed in the project repository.
Does the site use analytics?Yes — Google Analytics 4 with anonymous, aggregated usage data, and Google Search Console for indexing. See the Privacy page for details.
