What the assumptions mean
- Dispatch: product pages assume dispatch within 2–3 working days.
- Delivery: delivery across India is assumed at 3–7 working days for most addresses.
- Packaging: fragile items assume double-wall protection; flat-packed items assume corner protection.
- Tracking: a real store would email tracking after dispatch; this prototype does not collect orders.
Why we label assumptionsVague or inflated delivery promises are a common failure in small catalogues. Stating assumptions in the same place on every product page keeps the information honest and comparable. In a live store, these lines would be replaced with real dispatch rules per product.
