Description
Bedside lighting has one job and one constraint: it should light a page or a phone without waking the other person, and it should fit on a nightstand that is already holding a book, a glass and a phone. This lamp is built around that constraint. The stem is deliberately slim — 2 cm of brass-finish steel — so the base takes almost no space; the shade is a 25 cm drum with a fine pattern that breaks the light into a soft texture rather than a hard ring on the wall. The height (45 cm) puts the shade’s lower edge near seated eye level, which is the difference between reading comfortably and reading into a glare. It pairs naturally as a two-lamp set on either side of a bed, and it also works alone on a desk that does not need the articulated lamp’s intensity. The switch sits on the cord; the felted base protects wooden nightstands; and the whole thing wipes clean, which matters more beside a bed than anywhere else.
Use cases
- Nightstands — the intended home, in singles or pairs.
- Guest rooms where the lamp has to suit whoever is staying.
- Small desks and dressing tables with limited surface.
- Reading chairs next to a side table.

FAQs
Is it bright enough for reading in bed?
Yes with a 2700K LED up to 40 W equivalent; the patterned shade softens but does not swallow the light.
Does the shade pattern show when off?
The pattern reads as subtle texture in daylight and as light texture at night.
Can it run on a timer plug?
Yes — the cord switch stays on, and a timer or smart plug controls it from the socket.
